The man who turned OnlyFans into a global phenomenon has died aged 43 after a private battle with cancer.
Leonid Radvinsky — the Ukrainian-American billionaire who owned OnlyFans — passed away peacefully on March 23rd, 2026. The London-based company confirmed the news, asking for privacy for his family.
Born in Odesa, raised in Chicago, and educated at Northwestern University, Radvinsky was a programmer and entrepreneur who purchased a 75% stake in OnlyFans in 2018 from its British founders, Tim and Guy Stokely. What followed was one of the most explosive growth stories in internet history. The platform’s popularity surged during the Covid-19 pandemic, catapulting Radvinsky onto the Forbes Billionaires List by 2021 with an estimated net worth of $4.7 billion at the time of his death.
Under his ownership, OnlyFans became a cultural force — reshaping how creators monetise their content and how millions of people engage with digital entertainment. Love it or question it, the platform gave economic power directly to creators at a scale never seen before.
Away from OnlyFans, Radvinsky was a quiet philanthropist. He donated $5 million to Ukraine relief in 2022, supported cancer research through a $23 million grant programme alongside his wife, and had expressed his intention to sign the Giving Pledge — a commitment to donate the majority of his wealth to charitable causes.
Sam Pierce, CEO of OnlyGuider, said:
“This is a tremendous loss. Whatever your view on the adult industry, Leonid Radvinsky fundamentally changed the economics of content creation for millions of people around the world. He took a small UK startup and turned it into a platform processing billions of dollars a year — putting real money directly into the hands of creators. He did it quietly, without fanfare, and that humility says a lot about the man. On behalf of everyone at OnlyGuider, we send our deepest sympathies and condolences to his family. Rest in peace, Leo.”
